Indirectly. But as another commenter pointed out, it balances out with the tax rebates.
- Comment on How do you monitor your servers? 2 weeks ago:
I have a robust monitoring system for my Jellyfin server, been running for the last few years. Checks in periodically, at least once per 24 hours and notifies me if it’s down. Doesn’t use any electricity, but does consume a good amount of Cheerios and mac & cheese.

You don’t know anyone who has a steam deck? I’m guessing the Linux numbers are partly due to that.

YMMV I guess, but among the thousands of applications I’ve submitted looking for work, LinkedIn helped exactly buttkiss percent. The job search system is completely broken, and a terrible platform like LinkedIn isn’t helping.

No guarantee, but if we all delete our accounts, they’ll shut down that cesspool and we can all move on with our lives.

Deleting your LinkedIn account.

LLMs can’t do basic math, and can be convinced that 2 + 2 = potato. Don’t put it in charge of your finances.

Well it’s good that they’re building on a platform that has such a good reputation among users. I know I get all sorts of warm and fuzzy feelings when I hear the words “Windows Update.”
