  I feel like the art and interest in optimisation has been almost lost. When we made performance gains it was seen as an opportunity to bloat operating systems and websites, or simply neglect to optimise them.

  Remember when auto playing videos were a massive no no? Now that nono is not muting your auto play videos. Not to mention a single website running hundreds of trackers.

  I want to jump ship it’s just daunting when the other platforms I try can’t match the library. I ported a small playlist to Qobuz and only a third of the tracks were available. I have an offline library but I have been lazy and its unmaintained.

  can’t agree more. I have no ambition to play graphically intense shooters on my deck. It’s for chill controller games, which usually are not very heavy to run.
