  I have one of these on my backup Server. But about 2 out of 5 times the HDMI signal is not detected (after the Backup Server was running for a couple days) and I need to restart the Backupserver to get it working. restarting the JetKVM does not work. In comparison I had none of these issues with a NanoKVM. I don’t know if it is a problem of the JetKVM or the Backup machine.

  You could use a NanoKVM together with tailscale: wiki.sipeed.com/hardware/en/kvm/…/tailscale.html

  These cost around 60€ (don’t know the dollar price) on Aliexpress (I remember them being a lot cheaper in the past…).

  You do not need to use tailscale on the NanoKVM. You could use whatever VPN tooling your router supports to connect to your network and then to the NanoKVM.

  P.S. There was fuzz in the past about them including a small microphone that was not documented. Make of that what you want.

  I do cooking on living history events for dozens of people. And creating the shopping list from them (where a recipe is absed on another recipe) is always a painpoint. This sounds versy interesting (never heard of it).

  I would definetely buy the same device to replace my HP Elitedesk 800 G4 Mini for LibreElec to get rid of my extra remote. Should definetely work also 4k UHD/HDR streams.

  Did you try this out? I couldn’t find any reliable information to confirm the K12 Supports CEC.

  Building your own PC with SteamOS is Missing one very important part for Home Media: propper CEC Support. This is something no DIY GPU or Motherboard has included Out of the Box. But it is very important for a good console like experience.

  Actually supporting HDMI-CEC is such a big thing because it makes it the Perfect machine HTPC for Libreelec. No more need for separate remote to control your 4k HDR media player!
