I think all of those rules are explicitly against actual journalism, unless they’re supposed to be ironic. It is unwise to make ironic rules. Ignorant and autistic people that either do not understand how they’re ironic, or just miss the irony, will be learning the wrong lesson.

Definitely worse.
At least because they fucked over 11 for all the wrong reasons, whereas Vista was a clusterfuck because they were attempting to move past a bunch of legacy junk like the old driver stack.

They’re reporting a “vulnerability” where the access pattern requires the “attacker” to already have admin permissions to the thing supposedly being compromised.
Last I checked, it was understood that people with admin permissions can totally fuck a lot of things up if they wanted…
