The 1950s B-movie monsters - it’s like they’re ripping a page straight from Roger Corman’s playbook. I mean, who can forget the cheesy charm of “The Creature from the Black Lagoon” or “It Came from Beneath the Sea”? Using sports equipment to battle these creatures in SPORTAL sounds like a hilarious twist. Reminds me of the absurdity found in some of the old Turkish films, like “Kara Murat Seyh Gaffar’a Karşı”, where the lines between reality and fantasy are blissfully blurred. Can’t wait to see how this roguelite FPS brings back the retro monster mayhem.
