Creator of r/linuxsucks101 on Reddit and !Linuxsucks on Lemmy.world. Offering technical critiques of Linux, and favoring Windows MacOS, BSD, Haiku, and Harmony. Content is analytical and occasionally provocative.
Atheist critical of the Abrahamic dick skinning death cult, regularly posting memes and content regarding that on Gab.
Draws parallels between religion and cult-like LiGNUxers, and at times delves into the psychology of both.

Yeah, Linux Sucks doesn’t work there, just like Gab. But X protects the dick skinning death cults, so I removed myself from it. Gab may kinda support it but it also never gave me hassle and the curation tools work.

This was the main type of criticism for Linuxsucks101 on Reddit when it started, and now it’s poppin’. We’ve had to re-launch here so of course it’s slow to the get go.
The criticism is a pathetic attempt to marginalize. The other attitude is ‘no open discussion / debate’ -but as you see here, that’s not really what they do.

how you can attempt to debate seriously
Learn to quit. There comes a point where you’ve obviously won and the people that can’t see that aren’t the people you can reach anyway.

Do educated people use name-calling in a debate?

You have the internet at your fingertips. -It’s right there accessible in seconds, but LiGNUts prefer wasting time bickering over stupid crap (like you’re doing) instead of acknowledging that what I wrote was factual and easily verifiable at the source given. -It’s why a large population is turning against you and why your community is accurately labeled toxic.

Sorry, some confusion in what I was replying to. Anyway, I had already given the source (reddit). Sorry that Linux advocates are so allergic to search engines. www.reddit.com/search/?q=how+to+force+steam+pop-u… If you’re using VimiumC or Simple Search, the code for automatically doing this yourself as easy af: www.reddit.com/search/?q=%25s

Linux subs on Reddit published how to manipulate the survey. It’s out in the open, not removed after years and reflects the character of the GNU/GPL cult to manipulate statistics and perceptions.

I read something like this: “'I have tested around 15k PC titles on my 5950x with either a 3070ti or an 5070” and am called ‘underhanded’.
-Poppycock! You’re not going to test games properly at that rate. The frame timing issue with Trail-Out doesn’t occur until late in the game and isn’t anywhere near obvious, until you research it. I spent 2 hours trying to beat an unbeatable time trial (when I was excellent at the game and had been doing the runs better than tutorials showing success). -That issue was only fixed recently by WINE devs (not Proton).
You’re relying on ‘feelings’, ‘emotions’, and personal experience (affected by sunk cost fallacies). You’re not here to discuss tech, but to evangelize. Anything I’ve said is basically a search away to confirm the issue. All you’re doing is handwaving.

"And where are your “not anecdotes” when claiming that people do more tinkering than playing on linux machines? "
Ever heard of a search engine or professional reviews? -Sorry forgot LiGNUts are allergic to modern tech or common sense.

Yes, anecdotes are poor sources. ‘works on my machine’ ignores that same model motherboards can have different WiFi, Bluetooth, USB, and sound chips. -Plain old common sense for people that can actually discuss tech instead of parrot OS propaganda.

Your anecdotes contradict professional tests.

‘Ok, I’ll ask later" full screen ads, ads in the start menu, ignoring default search engine or browser settings when it could. It was a hostile user experience.’
Propaganda, or easy to turn off permanently.
‘Windows shill’
Yes, that’s why I suggest Haiku, BSD, Harmony, and Mac.
The propaganda is strong with you.

It’s supposed to eliminate the issues of Linux like unstable ABI/API, and fragmentation. -But like with Steamdeck, it’s probably going to have people saying they do more tinkering than actual gaming. Real PC gamers use Windows.
