Comment on What game had you like this?

Skyrim.
I couldn’t stand the ultra hype. I didn’t see anything special about the game. To me it just looked like a dumbed down fantasy Fallout without guns.
Then like a decade later I picked it up on some huge sale. Ended up first playing hundreds of hours on normal, then hundreds more on VR.

It totally is. The magic begins with mods. The museum-mod alone is a total gamechanger. Build your own world.
But without mods it’s just a mildly interesting game.

Oh so many mods.
I’ve never actually played the main story very far. It gets so boring so fast.

It does. But the more mods, the more it becomes a sandbox with the original main story being some side-goal 😁

I’m assuming you’re talking about this mod:

Never heard of it, but I stopped playing the game for the most part (except for the amazing total conversion Enderal) years before it came out, so it makes sense. It definitely looks interesting though.

Ooooh no you don’t. I am not reinstalling Skyrim.
(Does this work on VR?)

Legacy of the Dragonborn? Can’t think of a reason for it not to work in VR.
I finally have a room that is large enough for this game in VR. We are both giving the worst ideas ideas to each other.

Yes, this one. As one who likes collecting stuff in an RPG, this mod with all its additional addons gave exploring every place a reason. Last time I ended up with 1500 mods and spent 60% of the game time with getting mods working and 40% playing 😁
Enderal is a great one too, yes!
