This sounds like a really cool idea. Since ethics rules are negotiated anyway, this isn’t as problematic as a “morality index.” Maybe keep the data forever in case anyone cares, but calculate the main score on the most recent 5-year period.

In the US, at least, truth is supposed to be an absolute defense against slander or libel. And opinions are protected speech in any event.
