tb_@lemmy.world 1 day agoI agree the post is unclear, but I’m not sure where you get your assumption of it being “this year’s list”. That is reading something in the text which isn’t there. Furthermore;
- Rails World is in all three iterations of the table in that post, which includes prior updates.
- The amount donated is $24,000 in all three cases.
- They all link to the same Rails World 2025 convention page.
That does not show continued support in and of itself.

And until they clarify, I will continue to assume its a current list. The ball isnt in my court to make it clear they have stopped supporting racist shitheads.

It is a current list, yes. Just not current year’s list.
Some public statement on the Rails matter would be nice, I also agree. A clearer list would similarly be welcome. But reading things into the text that aren’t there isn’t on them.

Thats your interpretation. Considering nrp’s big tent comments, I am not going to be so generous in my interpretation.
Current year, current list, I currently expect it to continue for this years rails world.
Its linked to 2025 because 2026, as of now, doesnt exist.
Until there is an explicit statement to the contrary, I will assume they are continuing as they were. I don’t know how to make this any more clear to you, so I’ll leave it at that.
