This is for the original release, not the sequel.

Epic paid for (part of) Alan Wake 2’s development. Without them we may not have had the game in the first place, and certainly not in the state it released in.

How do you mean, Halo is already on PC?
And the issue isn’t the account linking in and of itself, but this being a sudden requirement after the game has already come out and people have already purchased the game.
On top of that: PlayStation accounts are unavailable in many countries where this game has already been sold. Where it may have been a deal-breaker for some, others will effectively be locked out if no change to the policy is made.
Either way, adding this requirement after already having sold the game is ridiculous.

- Comment on Stardew Valley creator confirms harvesting in a certain direction is faster - but not for long, as 1.6 fix due 8 months ago:
Buffing certainly has this place, don’t get me wrong. But recently there seems to have been this narrative about how developers should only buff, never nerf; which is blatantly not true. A narrative the original comment seemed to be feeding into and I wanted to call out.

“Nerfing” can make a game better.
While it may not apply in this case, telling developers to only buff and never nerf can break the balance of a game.
