The main benefit of these is the free cooling, but it seems ridiculous to put everything underwater when you can just pipe the cold water like they’re doing in Lake Ontario.

Data centers can be built nearish to the coast (vertically if space is that important) and everything is a million times more practical than trying to move it all under the sea.
