In My Summer Car, the (singular) dev put a few paintings in the player character’s home that were made with AI.
He got lots of hate for it, and someone even created a mod that replaces the AI artwork with a real artist’s paintings…

…which he had downloaded from the internet and put in his mod without compensating or attributing the artist in any way…
