realcaseyrollins@hilariouschaos.com 2 months agoMaybe I’ll check out a WNBA game when I have a chance, but I watched the NCAAW Final Four last year and wasn’t that impressed. It’s pretty low-scoring and low-energy compared to the male counterpart.
Caitlin Clark was fun to watch in college, but that was largely due to her just obliterating her opponents like she was Steph Curry. Without that skill gap, the female version of the game is a lot less interesting to me.

If the WNBA players aren’t bricking 3s over and over again like they do in the NBA, that’d certainly be a welcome improvement.
It’s rare, but some female sports have benefits/advantages that the male equivalents don’t have. In womens’ soccer, for example, (my favorite female sport), they don’t flop at all. It leads to more gameplay and less downtime.
