    Steamdecks are consols… So Yeah they are already sold at a loss because it is assumed people buy games in the Shop then

      Valve has said multiple times they don’t sell their hardware at a loss. Razor thin margins, but not a loss.

        Original steamdeck was sold at loss atleast that is what ive read back then. Not sure about oled and today after ram-agedon

        Consoles are usually just weird, cheap, locked down, underpowered pcs, that only play certain brands/formats of games, and have unique cases, lol.

        It basically means ‘thing that is (usually) for your living room what plays video games and such’.
