    Nothing in Gaben’s quotes says loss. The author is making assumptions based on the “aggressive” and “painful” comments.

      I’m not able to find anything that corroborate Canuck’s claim that prompted my question.

      At this point I’m assuming they were also talking out their ass.

        I wouldn’t say they’re spreading misinformation. The article they linked DOES try to make the claim that Valve said they were selling it at a loss. However, they provided little evidence to back it up.
