Comment on Meta Ran Ads That Contained AI-Generated Child Sexual Abuse Imagery

I’ve been flagging these on Facebook, which I only use for marketplace. Facebook NEVER does anything about it and I’ve been increasingly concerned. My reports get closed as “content does not break terms of use”.
The things I see through Facebook ads are not necessarily ai generated. They are just disgusting images, or allusions. Like an anime image of an old man surrounded by young boys with captions about a romance dating sim.
It’s been like this for a while. The suggested shorts frequently imply sexual content with minors and Facebook friend suggestions on blank accounts frequently include 14-16 year old girls.

I regularly see Facebook posts with literal calls for murder, that, after lengthy "reviews", are found to be "not against the community standards". Things like "we should really kill all the towelheads, they have no place in America"...
Meanwhile, a few weeks back I had to fight a 30 day suspension for a comment that said "[insert name here] no, Hitler was wrong, his rhetoric was hateful, and the very first targets of the Nazi party were the socialists and workers unions. Look up the Night of Long Knives.", because apparently stating historical facts, not calls to violence, IS against the community standards.

I was going to say, what isn’t CSAM or scams, is violent and hateful propaganda or fake news.
