  Yes they will! Don’t underestimate the stupidity of ultra-geeks. Maybe that’s a good thing for both Linux and BSD. The first uses a few annoying loud nerds who didn’t contribute anyway, and the latter gets more traction due to loud nerds advertising it in their hackerspaces where other, more useful, nerds reside.

    Do you have anything else to contribute to this discussion besides using the word “geek”? Avoiding addressing the opponent directly does not make your comment non-aggressive.

      I specifically said “loud geek”. I don’t have an issue with geeks themselves.

      By all means, switch to BSD, but don’t yap about it irrelevantly in a thread about Linux.
