Noted. Will find time to migrate to NetBSD by then.

Yes they will! Don’t underestimate the stupidity of ultra-geeks. Maybe that’s a good thing for both Linux and BSD. The first uses a few annoying loud nerds who didn’t contribute anyway, and the latter gets more traction due to loud nerds advertising it in their hackerspaces where other, more useful, nerds reside.

Honestly don’t know enough about programming to be sure but this seems like a responsible use of AI–flagging issues in large blocks of code for manual review.

The DM changes merged for Linux 7.3 include six minor code clean-ups for issues spotted by Claude Opus 4.6. There are also various manual code clean-ups to different DM targets, improved metadata validation for DM-PCACHE and DM-ARRAY, and various fixes.

You’re correct and they’re a loud geek who know nothing about Kernel development.

Finding flaws in code is probably the most useful thing claude can do.

Nice, then you’ll stop annoying knowledgeable people with your Dunning Kruger questions.

I tried to find what you are referring to, but I couldn’t find anything. You got an example?
