RedSnt@feddit.dk 7 hours agoThanks for letting me know. There was some sketchiness with a dot com site being Cypriot, like maybe it was for tax purposes, rights or something, but I hadn’t investigated it too much.

No problem! Technically they ARE a Cypriot company (and probably even hire in the EU now and have to obey GDPR and stuff), but historically it’s been founded in Moscow. And personally I would consider even historical ties to authoritarian countries a red flag.
