quad9 doesn’t have the various levels of filters (ads, social, etc…
Nextdns.io does, if you just need house level DNS ad blocking.
Technically not free if you exceed a very high limit of DNS queries, but ive been using it for years and have never got there.
ControlD also provides a free DNS service with various lists.
