I’m debating. This is one thing I’ve been really excited about for a while but I’m not sure the 1TB is worth the extra $300. But I waaaaant it!!!

Realistically, it probably isn’t worth it because you can expand the storage via SD Card either way (and it’s a lot cheaper, especially if you already have a good SD Card at home). But “I want it tho” is my reason for getting the bigger one too, so just follow your heart 🥹

Is an SD card going to have the same performance (and longevity?) as an SSD? Back when I was using a Raspberry Pi people always said it was kinda risky running the OS on an SD card.

You’d still be running the OS on the SSD (the smaller one is 256GB, that’s still plenty of space). As for whether SD Cards are worse, I have no idea :0 I know I’m running most of my Switch games off an SD Card and never noticed any performance issues, but Switch games really aren’t demanding enough to be a good benchmark I guess

Also, if your PC is more powerful than this you are most likely be streaming instead of using it in standalone mode.
