USB 2.0 is sort of disappointing, though realistically, how often will I actually be transferring files to this device?

I guess I can do some testing of this myself right now, but I’ll ask for anyone who is familiar: should I expect local file transfers over SSH via Wi-Fi to be faster than local file transfers via USB 2.0 anyway?
