They have algorithms that remove content that mentions (or has text that mentions) certain key terms, and adds notes to anything that mentions climate change, covid or the holocaust. They can do the same for this but wont.

How did this get 80 upvotes lol
“YouTube doesn’t police these random one-video channels I’ve found with 28k views”! What a scandal!

Would you put this on the same importance of "must use algorithim known for false positives" as Climate Change, Covid, or the Holocaust?
Pretty sure they put a vtuber in the covid panels, it was a joke for awhile...if they were in the algorithim you want, they'd of been banned.

The problem is these tools are being used to push falsities and misinformation. So yes, I do put these on the same footing. These proxy-promo accounts are used to push channels and videos like that, thats why I included the whole screen.

So...you're fine with the people who get banned by accident, knowing this guy can just make a new account and has already done so??

At absolute minimum, it’s a nothing-channel with no views that hasn’t been picked up by their system.
Secondly, selling dumb bullshit isn’t illegal. There are lots of conspiracy theory videos on YouTube, and those are all dumb bullshit. Hell, Loose Change is almost certainly all over YouTube still

I never said it was illegal. It is against their own YT policies. This becomes a transparency thing - they have algorithms to deal with these problems. The fact they wont says everything.

Dude algorithms are just computer programs. They’re not God.

Yeah it’s almost like they are running maybe the complex site to ever exist on the Internet. Report it using the tools available.
