I’ve used my Steam Deck to browse the web and watch videos. I can’t say if I’m typical for a Steam Deck user.

That is likely incorrect. According to Steam’s own hardware survey, SteamOS makes up less than a quarter of Linux systems even on Steam. So even when it comes to gaming, Desktop Linux is a much bigger factor than SteamOS and consequently the Steamdeck.

I knew a lot when I was around a lot of graphic artists but now I can only think of one person who uses a mac laptop. A lot of people I know don’t use computers at all though. just phones.
