I’d also recommend using a whitelist or blacklist file to filter out file formats that you know shouldn’t be there if you’re downloading movies/tv shows. In public trackers it sometimes happens that there are malicious and have a .exe virus with the name of the movie lr latest episode. Using a blacklist you’re able to easily filter that out.

They might be, but they still block the download of the actual episode or movie you were trying to get :)

Btw, Sonarr was recently updated and you can now create a Releases profile that automatically blocks malicious torrents! The whole process of setting up the arr stack can be a bit much at first, but once you get it going it’s super satisfying to see everything working :)
