III@lemmy.world 9 months agoI am not entirely sure that is “profit focused”. It’s profit on a real world situation, you said it yourself - less QA work which makes it able to release faster. They are only taking advantage of that fact. They would have to focus on not profit for it to happen any other way.

Why not just double the amount of QA testers and devs to make it in the same amount of time then?
