  No, I’m assuming since he’s white and nobody wants to hire him as a writer he likes golf.

  I bet if he converted to paganism and became a druid, or if he learned a few languages, or if he got a bachelor’s in ancient history he’d have an easier time getting a job. Which is kind of exactly what these employers are saying. They’re saying “come back when you have something new to bring to the table”.
