  I bet if he converted to paganism and became a druid, or if he learned a few languages, or if he got a bachelor’s in ancient history he’d have an easier time getting a job. Which is kind of exactly what these employers are saying. They’re saying “come back when you have something new to bring to the table”.

  If I’m looking for fresh ideas and to tell new stories, I know which of those two I’m hiring. Studio probably already has 5 identical white men who like Golf. If he wants to be considered for the job, he should go out and experience the world for himself. That’s where you get the inspiration for new stories and good writing.

  After Gina leaves it gets a lot more serious. In the final season Rosa has left the force and become a PI over the George Floyd incident. Jake undergoes an arc about internalizing the fact that this doesn’t mean Rosa hates him or thinks he’s a bad person.

  This is why I hate film journalism. It says supporting characters, but then it lists a bunch of actors. These words are meaningless to me and meaningless to the internal context of the movie. I have received no information.
