Being removed from the Play Store and likely to be open sourced too. This particular dev doesn’t strike me as someone who will work on this project if he isn’t getting paid anymore.

Unfortunately, just shows most of these people were in it for the wrong reasons.
If they were in it for legit game preservation reasons, there would be zero reason to do anything.

True, though I have no problem with open source devs asking for donations. As long as the code is truly open source and the software is free, and not locked behind a paywall, “donationwall,” etc
