Instead of improving their shitty cloud subscription BS, they should improve their drivers or just fully open source them so the community can work on it ffs

I agree, but I’m sure there are completely different teams for each and I appreciate this team choosing to support Linux more.

No, that's not how it works. They make lots of money from their cloud gaming BS, more supported platforms means more potential users, which means more money. Proper GPU drivers for Linux wouldn't make them much money, but take some time (and thus money) to develop.
