it’s even worse if you’ve used any paid items to make your skin with and then say “Hey I’d like to use this skin for java too!” because you’re leaving bedrock permanently and want to take the skin you made with paid elements with you.

because they make it nearly impossible to actually access the skin file without going through hoops just to get the actual skin.

source: my stupid ass paid for a few character elements and it took forever for me to get my skin out of bedrock.
