I have successfully improved my relationship with my rescue cat who used to become very aggressive when overstimulated. Where she wanted me to stop petting before, she would bite or scratch 2 years ago, drawing blood almost daily.
Now she begins licks when she wants someone to stop touching her and they miss her telling them via her body language.
