- Comment on SKALD: Against the Black Priory gets controller support and Steam Deck Verified 2 months ago:
Thats immediately how I played it; with my deck and the built in controller.
Wish the game kept me interested a little longer tho!
- Comment on Playstation Store lists Red Dead Redemption as “now on PC for the first time ever” 4 months ago:
RDR 1 was and is one of my favorite game stories ever, and emulating the 360 version feels bad when you can boot up RDR2 and get one of the most beautiful games ever made running at a higher framerste.
But I dont like 2. Put a dozen hours into it hoping it would click and it just dont.
This release is targeted @ me and I’m here for it.

Reading this I’m just… tired.
Maybe it can hallucinate some happy stories for me.
- Comment on ZOTAC Zone is yet another AMD gaming handheld 6 months ago:
So the dual trackpads are interesting. I use my right trackpad on my Steam Deck all the time for more mouse centric games. I appriciate that ZOTAC included them, but the execution is key here.
Personally, I have two steam decks in my house and I’m extremely satisfies with them. I dont think a new handheld will make me switch until we get another generational improvemnt in terms of battery or power.
I love that the market has so many options! Steam, Asus, Lenovo, MSI, Zotac, AYANEO, AYN, GPDWin, or even the chaper linux retro consoles! its fucking awesome. In a few years we’ll see who really sticks with it, but for now, we’re in a little handheld revolution. Enjoy it while we can.
- Comment on Footage Of Monolith's Canceled Nolan Batman Game That Became Shadow Of Mordor Appears Online 8 months ago:
That is SO fucking cool.
The Shadow of Morodor games are pretty good turn your brain off action games. But the tech behind it always blew my mind.
(Slight spoilers)
Like when you unlock the drake in the sequal and can fly over all the orc architecture or mountains, see anything that looks interesting and divebomb in. And it retains so much detail and fluidity during these transitions of gameplay and travel. I literally said last week that Shadow of Morodor is the best superhero game around, mainly because they truly capture that feeling of raw power and freedom.
I guess this is why it kinda has that feel!
- Comment on Pokémon Co. Is Now DMCAing Years Old Videos Showing Pokémon Modded Into Other Games 8 months ago:
Actually, I don’t think so. Thats why Nintendo shits on a bunch of fan ports and remake projects.

Fair use is such a fickle thing. It isn’t the catch all that people want.
Without express permission from Nintendo, including Pokemon in a mod is copyright infringement.
Is it transformative? Thats extremely case by case, but Nintendo would make the arguement that mods can act as a market subsitute for their own product (like the guys putting pokemon into palworld).
IANAL, this is all just my opinion.

But the Pokémon themselves are IP of Nintendo at the moment, so their inclusion is technically copyright infringement no?
- Comment on (TRUTH) New year and reflection time for past 6 months 11 months ago:
The timing actually bit me in the ass, as I got my SD only a few months before building a new 4k 120hz rig and TV update.
It gets its use more casual, quick gaming. When it is 930 PM I don’t want to take over my living room to game for an hour before I have to go to bed. So I pop on Shovel Knight Dig of whatever and dick around. Very rarely now is it my main gaming machine.
BUT
I use it in desktop mode for one of my two living room TVs. Its so FUCKING awesome having a full PC I can charge and keep alive with just a high powered USB C cable. Its an amazing media PC because of its size and doomed profile.
