I had some friends who were huge into Kingdom Hearts growing up, so I’m kinda curious about playing it now that it’s on Steam. However the numbering of the series makes it really unclear what games I need to play to experience the core story.
The release order does the best job or revealing information in an entertaining way.
For me playing through is a big nostalgia trip. The writing isn’t great and the gameplay in Chain of Memories is extremely annoying for the first few hours but I am happy to be able to go hang with all of the Disney characters I did when I was a kid and I finally get to play KH3!!!
