moody@lemmings.world 11 months agoI don’t know about ProtonVPN specifically, but I’ve found if you set your VPN to connect automatically, it actually stops it from working entirely, so best to make sure you manually connect.

For manual connection inside gaming mode I use this decky plugin: github.com/steve228uk/TunnelDeck
Saves me from having to go into desktop mode, connect, then back. I’m never sure if it the connection stays alive.
