I think this title is being easily misunderstood.

Dell is not cutting jobs by having AI compensate for those positions, they’re cutting down on sales teams and creating a new team that focuses on AI products.

For instance, in June, Dell, alongside Supermicro, was selected to provide hardware infrastructure for Elon Musk’s xAI startup’s AI supercomputer.
