Comment on OLED - How is the HDR?
jordanlund@lemmy.world 7 months agoMany times, sitting going through the rtings settings line by line. Only thing that works is disabling HDR.
The weird thing is that you can see the difference live on screen at the same time. The main image is HDR, muddy, dark, and unwatchable, but the thumbnail image when FF and RW is bright, clean, and clear because HDR isn’t applied to the thumbnails.

Just found the thread on the Samsung forums you got those pictures from haha. I don’t know why your issue frustrates me so much but it does! Determined to solve this.
