verdigris@lemmy.ml 1 day agoI mean, you still own the games, you just won’t be able to access them through Origin. You have to download a different launcher. I don’t think you really have to do anything else to “migrate”.

Unless it’s GOG, then you own the installers you’ve downloaded. Not on the intellectual property sense, but in the physical sense, as in you literally have them stored somewhere.
