Iirc Meta, X and some other platform I can’t think of did a similar thing with popular streamers and YouTubers trying to get them to post to their platforms. Most of them told Meta and X to screw off.

Meta treats their influencers like shit, they are wise to avoid them.

I saw a tiktoker who shares recipes say she got under $1 for November or December with just shy of 200k followers, and $3700 from TikTok for the same month, however there she has 400k+ followers. I cannot imagine that having the other 200k followers would equate to an extra $3699.

Yea I can’t logically understand how an influencer even gets their content seen on Meta’s platforms given how it’s algorithm just pukes random shit at you 24/7 with no rhyme or reason.

It’s so strange. When they released reels it was really bad. It just kept force feeding me altright bs and conspiracy theories. Then one day it fed me exactly what I wanted to see and it was like a whole day of just interesting informative content every time I pop back to it I thought oh that’s kind of nice having alternatives is good.
And then it would just flip back and forth randomly. On a given day I’d either get nothing I wanted to see or I would get a bunch of great content.

Yea id either get what I wanted to see which was essentially just shit posting and wood working videos or, more usually the case, it would be nothing but Ben Shapiro, Joe Rogan and half baked conspiracy videos taking about DEW and wildfires.
