  It was made by a friend, and…as far as these things go, don’t you want to encourage this kind of thing? Fostering the underdogs and encouraging any kind of FOSS alternatives?

    Matrix is also foss but it is safer and decentralised. From my experience revolt is more buggy and is hosted on one server which means that if that server goes offline then no one can use revolt, if one of matrix servers went down people could still use it by switching instance
