madjo@feddit.nl 1 month agoIt’s the only thing I could think of. One day it was working fine, I hooked it up to a charger (grabbed the wrong wire, not the official one, but a 5v one), and the next day, the screen didn’t turn on anymore, but the Deck itself still works, when I attach it to a screen.

I second this. My experience with Steam support for a broken Steam Deck (white OLED) was outstanding.

Steam is an amazing company. Probably the best company in terms of customer support in the U.S. many businesses could learn from them. There is hardly anyone who has a bad thing to say about them.

It’s crazy how much goodwill a company can garner just by treating customers well.
Not a coincidence that Valve never went public.
