Are there any decent alternatives coming out soon?
There are several, but many are pricier due to smaller scale production. Banana Pi, Libre Computer, LattePanda, BeagleBone, Odroid.
I’ve seen around half a dozen from various YouTube tech creators but they’ve all involved some level of compromise
I like Pine64 but it is important to note that they are targeting people with some experience. They also have a habit of just quietly forgetting products.
