Those launchers are cancer for the Steam Deck. Even trying a Steam Deck verified game started like Star Wars Squadrons was more difficult than it needed to be with that extra layer of bullshit.
Dragon Age The Veilguard will be Steam Deck verified and EA app will be not required

There is no guarantee that EA won’t change the deal after you’ve bought the game.
