That’s just the tip of the iceberg. Froeschke also revealed that from pre-orders to the upcoming first expansion, Diablo IV’s total lifetime revenue has already surpassed $1 billion. That figure is no small feat, but it’s not surprising considering Diablo IV is Blizzard’s fastest-selling game ever.
I have Diablo and Diablo 2 in my heart. Made the mistake to play 3, but i will never play Diablo 4. I will die happy.

Why are people paying to play diablo when Path of Exile is right there, free?
Blizzard doesn’t give a fuck about its consumers.

I love PoE but will say I don’t like the glitterfest speedster every build turns into. I know many d2 builds can get pretty bright and fast too, but it somehow has more cronch for what I’m doing. I can’t shake it, and clearly struggle to define it.
It’s a great great game and I look forward to poe2, no hate.

What about Grim Dawn?

Visual clutter is your own responsibility in PoE, just saying :)
But I get where you come from.

Why are people paying to play a game where the single player mode doesn’t work offline?

Indeed.

Waiting for the sequel of PoE to launch. Latest disable just sucked. It was a slog. And you don’t get to experiment with abilities and equipment so much, there’s usually only 1 good combination for any class…don’t use it, you won’t win

Having played both, I ask myself the same question

Or if you want to float some money the developer’s way, pick up last epoch.
