The amount of chips a fast food place serves. I had to throw all this away because I was full. They should serve smaller portions.

Food waste and obesity are problems.

Probably the better solution is more granular serving sizes with corresponding prices. Like pay less to get less.

Food waste isn't as big a problem as people seeking to profit off basic necessities like eating.

People don't go hungry because you didn't eat all your fries, they go hungry because it's not "economical" to feed them.

That’s a good option. I remember having a friend that ordered the kid’s size meal at certain restaurants because she didn’t eat that much.

What I used to do (and I know this isn’t an option for everyone) is that I took the leftovers home with me, or for later, no need to waste perfectly good food.

Yes. These food places expect me to become obese.

I mean. They just spam the plate with chips. I don’t want to be fat like. Smaller portions should be an option.

I don’t believe I’ve ever eaten fast food place that did t have different sizes of fry but order available.

My guy, if you don't want to be fat don't eat fast food.

      Bro.
How about giving people the option to pay less for smaller portions? Is that not allowed for some reason? I’m a small guy, and every restaurant I visit in the west pretty much charges me double and gives me twice as much food as I could possibly handle. It sucks when traveling, because I can’t exactly just take it home.

I’ve never been to a fast food place that *didn’t * have multiple serving sizes available for their fries.

It’s not hard to order a smaller size if you know you’re not hungry enough for a larger portion.

Why not buy a kiddie meal?

Bro, you couldn't ask them for a bag to take it back home with you? Instead you threw it away? Now that's the infuriating bit.

Did you only eat 2 fries?

That portion looks small?! Wtf is a normal portion to you?

That bag and two small chicken strips seems normal for an average sized human depending on where you are in the world

It doesn't look small, but it looks fairly normal and pretty much just fulfilling for lunch. The fries bag seems almost full... is this the before picture?

Move to NYC where your dream is a reality

Get used to paying $18 for a plain burger and $8 for fries

I actually sympathize. My wife and I are small, so when we eat out, it’s usually just an appetizer and a main dish that we share, and then we still need to ask for a box.

My friends love eating out with me because half of my food usually makes its way to their plate and sometimes they get to finish my beer.

Here’s a tip. Take those fries home and stick them in the fridge. Fry them up in an omelette later.
