The cable-ification of streaming continues.
But why?
One of the common complaints from early cord cutters was that picking something to watch was harder than just having channels to flip through.
Maybe this solves that problem, but I think a better way would be user-curated playlists that you can shuffle through.
But if they could have an adult swim channel that has bumpers it would be cool.
Being able to create your own playlists of shows, and then adding a “shuffle” button would be best.
I use Prime’s live channels when I’m not invested in finding something to watch, but want some background noise. Before YouTube ads got crazy, I’d just let it autoplay for same effect. I’ll appreciate having HBO’s content in similar rotation, assuming it’s included at current cost.
Probably to cram ads in.
