Same exact setup as last shave, but my lather was subpar (a little foamy), so I wanted to try it again. I followed the suggestion from @djundjila@sub.wetshaving.social and added water more slowly this time. That seemed to have solved it, thank you fellow shaver!

2 passes. Face lather. Excellent shave.
This was my first time using Ace. Wonderful scent. Leather and tobacco is what I get but there’s a woody aspect to it as well. Perfect for this time of year. This one’s a keeper.
I only do 2 pass shaves. Same for you, or was today an exception?
Yes, I normally do 2-pass shaves. Because I’m a daily shaver, I can get away with my first pass as WTG-XTG and my second pass as XTG-ATG and get almost as close a shave as a more traditional 3-pass shave.

Dropping the regularly scheduled Fougère Friday for a Welcome-Back-u/MadDingersYo shave! Yes, he’s back, and this is as close an homage to his come-back shave as my den permits. Welcome back Dingers 🍻
Seville is good stuff, I just don’t think of using it that often.
End of the week and start of the month. And the holidays are just around the corner too…
