So at the end of this series she gets a massive head wound. When we see her in the movie her eyes are a foot closer together

To be fair, Max changes too. Almost every movie feels like it takes place in a completely separate timeline. Not to mention the 2015 game that’s heavily inspired by Fury Road, but has a different Max.

Gotta love shaming people over things they have literally no control over 👍👍

The movie doesn’t look good, but also, what a dog shit trailer. That text and that music, it’s so try hard.

Kinda looks like they are using some of the imagery and locations from the game?

Looks cheesy af and not great visually, but I’m not expecting much more than a fun movie I’ll forget about until someone else mentions it. Just like the last one.

Ouch, the CGI looks really bad and is it all green screen? What made the Mad Max series great was the practical stunts, but this looks all CGI.

I think you hit the nail on the head. Something just felt off, and it’s probably because a lot of this isn’t great green screen work. Colors, lighting, etc - people don’t feel like they’re standing in a real place.
Fury Road was special because most of that stuff felt real… probably because it was.

It was weird how sometimes the people looked like video game characters. Lighting being off when they were doing the green screen shots would explain that.

Might be better when it’s done, assuming there’s post-prod work remaining.

Considering how much CG there was in Fury Road (youtu.be/exK_fVmY8Jk?si=OxGJZfh6UCN4DWJQ) I’m willing to hold my judgement until the final product is released.

Yeah what made the universe great was Miller really fleshed it out, especially the last film. From unique colloquialisms set in that tone, to all the designs and “brutality” of the wasteland.
This looks like a shitty money grab.
