I hate fishing games. Just chance games to waste time. But I also hate fishing so…

when i was about 4 i put out a pickeral rig and ended up catching 3 goldeye at the same time. my dad thought i caught another rock because i lost another rig earlier, but i kept reeling it in, low and behold, a bunch of goldeye.

after that i guess you could say i was hooked

thats probably why i enjoy it, its mostly about spending time with others and relaxing for me. actually catching something is a secondary experience thats appreciated if it happens.

i dont mind fishing in games, not the biggest draw. but for survival games mainly it should be a staple as long as its done well enough to be satisfying and rewarding.

You say pickerel and know about Goldeye. Manitoba or Minnesota or similar? ;)

      It’s called fishing, not catching.
