People pay money for this shit?
I don’t, my employer does though. Assisting with certain coding tasks is pretty much the only thing it’s good about it.
This isn’t for copilot though
Enshittification speed run 100%
ChatGPT No thank you.
Ok whatever. I’m just waiting for the 🎈📌
Good news, everyone! We discovered a new way to make up plausible sounding bullshit…now all we have to do is figure out how to make it stop showing you ads, a quest for the ages!
These guys are desperate for revenue. It’s a last ditch effort cash grab so they don’t go bankrupt.
They’ve already committed to spend over a trillion dollars on infrastructure. They’re going down long before that ever happens.
How do you know the authorities won’t just keep printing money for them?
The scale of their commitments is just… too big.
I wonder if you can trick the Ai into serving you an ad and then convincing it to trash the company, and then meme on it, ruining the revenue source.

Never seen ads on netflix, dont pay for it
Yup even people who pay get adverts. Not used it in years and over Christmas a relative put something on. It has adverts at the start and during the show. I was immediately irate. Wanted to throw a shoe at the TV
I don’t have ads with them. Their poor tier is the ad tier.
I’m close to dumping them though. Price increases are out of hand. Content feels razor thin compared to how it used to be.
It should cost less per person as they grow userbase but instead it costs more. They pocket the economy of scale while we get fucked.
Just become a pirat .
Much jollier option

Hold on. Paying for ads is now normalized?
We are so fucking stupid.
favoredponcho@lemmy.zip 1 day ago
It was normalized with cable television.
mrdown@lemmy.world 1 day ago
Yes since netflix popularized it

I believe Hulu was the original offender.
